1980 PONTIAC TRANS AM MAY TRADE

She retains her stock appearance all the way down to her factory correct wheels and tires yet the 400 cubic inch engine is .30 over , has an Edelbrock Torker II cam, Edelbrock intake manifold and Holley carburetor. The hood scoop is actually functional and using an electric solenoid opens as more power is needed.

The transmission is a B&M with a mild shift kit and is linked to a Hurst dual gate shifter. The right side of the shifter has never been used.

Since the restoration the car has never had the tires broken loose or spun or been driven above 70 mph. She has been inside a climate controlled area with a California Car Cover on her and never been washed with water since the restoration. I have simply used Meguiars spray detailer and a microfiber cloth to keep her clean.

All of the bushings are the top shelf Energy Suspension urethane bushings with Hotchkis front and rear sway bar assemblies. She is amazingly tight and handles extremely well aided in part by the frame stiffeners. The alignment is dead on and she tracks as straight as an arrow.

The exhaust exits Hooker headers and custom made true duals with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and the correct splitter exhaust tips.

The front and rear brakes along with wheel bearings and seals were done at the time of the restoration. The rear is a 3.73 posi-traction unit.

The audio system is a Pioneer AM/FM/CD with 4 Pioneer 6x9�€™s in the rear and 2 Pioneer speakers in the factory location in the front dash.

The dash is free of any cracks and console was replaced at the time of restoration and are free of any blemishes as well. The kick panels, sill plates and carpet were also replaced along with all new weather stripping.


This car is an amazing driver, has won several trophies and draws a crowd any where she goes. I retained copies of the thousands of dollars in parts receipts and I have clear title on the car. The car is sold as is with no warranty and the buyer is responsible for all transportation fees.
